Overview: SBG is hiring a macOS Systems Engineer to support the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Enterprise Engineering and Operations Support Services (CEEOSS) contract. CISA plays a vital role in DHS by safeguarding the nation’s cyber and physical infrastructure, and this position directly supports that mission through enterprise-class endpoint management and engineering. This position is working on-site VA. The ideal candidate is mission-driven, recognizing the importance of secure, resilient IT environments in protecting national security. This role is best suited for a detail-oriented engineer with strong scripting and system administration skills who can also think strategically about long-term solutions. The macOS Systems Engineer will: Administer and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers and JAMF Pro infrastructure used for macOS management. Apply DISA STIGs, patches, and security baselines to ensure compliance with DHS directives. Monitor system uptime, performance, and availability; implement corrective actions as needed. Develop and maintain Bash/Python scripts for automating macOS configuration, patching, and security enforcement. Manage JAMF databases, policies, profiles, and packages to support enterprise deployment. Provide Tier 4 escalation support for macOS endpoint issues. Requirements
- 5+ years administering macOS in enterprise environments.
- Experience with JAMF Pro administration and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) system management.
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of DISA STIGs, FISMA/NIST standards, and federal compliance requirements.
- Eligible for DHS security clearance
- BS Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related discipline.
