About The Position

The position involves setting up and operating CNC lathes and Turn Mills. Responsibilities include proving out new and repeat programs, optimizing programs to increase efficiency, and using inspection tools to monitor dimensional accuracy. The role also requires monitoring tooling and replacing it when necessary.

Requirements

• Familiar with CNC lathes with Fanuc control, Mori Seiki, Nakamura, Mazak.
• Experience with B-axis turn mills and/or Lathes with live tooling.
• Strong knowledge of G and M codes.
• Knowledgeable with GD&T.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work well with others.
• Organized and accurate with documentation.

Nice To Haves

• Programming using CAD/CAM.
• Featurecam experience.
• Knowledge of machining process and problem-solving skills to ensure strict quality and cosmetic standards.
• 10 years' experience as a CNC Lathe set up machinist.

Benefits

• Base salary range of $29.18-$49.62 hourly.
