The CNC Machinist will set up and operate a Mori Seiki 4 Axis Horizontal with Fanuc controls, Mazak, or Okuma. The right candidate will be a safety-minded person who enjoys hands-on work and has the ability to set up and operate both CNC and manual machinery for use in metalworking applications. They will need to understand and be able to edit G code as needed, utilize integrated Renishaw probing, complete SOP travelers, and document daily activities. The role requires interpreting assembly and blueprint drawings, following proper safety precautions, and maintaining a courteous demeanor while working well with others. Additionally, the candidate must be able to properly rig heavy machinery and equipment for use with an overhead crane, train new or other employees to perform the same job responsibilities, and maintain an organized and clean work area. A drug-free, safety-minded individual with an excellent attendance record is essential.
