About The Position

Overview: The Machinist is responsible for running multiple CNC machines efficiently. In order to ensure proper function, machinist review equipment regularly to report any equipment malfunctions, tooling issues, conduct general maintenance tasks while following all safety precautions.

This is position is for a 2nd Shift (M-Th 3pm-1am) Machinist to work in our Manitowoc, WI location.

Requirements

• Associates Degree or certification preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience running CNC Horizontal machining centers.
• Strong mechanical abilities.
• Ability to read Blueprints.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members.
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate CNC Horizontal machining centers.
• Load and unload work fixtures, devices, tools and programs.
• Adjusting cutting tools, as required.
• Follow standard work processes and record data.
• Perform duties in a safe and efficient manner.
• Other duties as assigned.
