We design, build, and service equipment for steel plants across the globe with a strong technical services/machine shop network in North America. Summary: Experience is a plus but must have the ability to be trained and willing to learn if not experienced.

Requirements

Be able to perform set-ups and operations on various machines such as: 1. CNC Horizontal Mills (Heidenhain Control) 2. CNC Vertical Mills (Fanuc Control) 3. CNC Vertical Lathe (Siemens Control) 4. CNC Horizontal Lathe (Siemens Control) 5. CNC Horizontal Lathe (Fanuc Control) 6. Manual Vertical Mill (Bridgeport) 7. Manual Vertical Lathe (6 Foot) 8. Manual Horizontal Mill (Supermill) 9. Horizontal Lathe (Poreba)
Have experience with using measuring devices such as: 1. Tape Measure 2. Inside/Outside Mics 3. Calipers 4. Depth Mics
Understanding of and ability to read blueprints
Good math skills
Ability to work with others and follow directions
Have excellent attendance
Be aware of surrounds and safety of others
Report any and all unsafe conditions immediately
Hazard Communications- Knows/understands hazard of the job assignment before starting
Basic understanding of safety policies and procedures
Performs clean up
Ability to operate a fork truck (training will be provided on site)
Ability to operate a crane safely (training will be provided on site) 1. Lift equipment safely 2. Knowing where disconnect switches are 3. Perform inspection of crane before use 4. Inspect straps and chains before use 5. Checking any and all rigging before performing lift
