About The Position

Join our Raymond Team as a Machinist – 2nd Shift! The Role: We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Machinist who brings enthusiasm and expertise to the table. In this role, you’ll be operating a variety of machines, including but not limited to, laser cutters, saws, brake presses, CNC machines, etc. If you enjoy tackling challenges with positivity and an upbeat mindset, you’ll feel right at home here.

Requirements

Minimum of three years production experience is required, with one or more years in a production operator/machinist role.

Nice To Haves

A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

Receiving processed parts and reading blueprints/sketches to fabricate a variety of complex, mid-low volume parts. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve problems associated with job set up.
Adhering to proper feeds, speeds, and settings to maximize production levels and machine/tool life.
Inspecting your own work prior to next operation. Serving as precision and operational inspector for Production Operators’ work. Adjust and send work back as necessary.
Stacking and/or moving completed work by following material handling procedures.
Supporting the Company’s 5S program to maintain work area, equipment and supplies in a neat, organized manner.
Making recommendations to change outdated or ineffective procedures through the kaizen process.
