About The Position

Safely supports Manufacturing with the fabrication of solutions to improve
Kubota’s Manufacturing Process. Troubleshoots current manufacturing processes,
develops, and implements Kaizen solutions practicing the 5-Gen principles.

Requirements

• Must be able to work well in a Team oriented environment
• Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to work with little oversight
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Understanding and/or ability to Machine is a plus (Lathe, Mill, CNC)
• Knowledge and ability to MIG weld
• Ability to read engineering drawings and fabricate to specification
• English language competency and legible writing ability

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment and / or fabrication shop
• Understands and practices the 5-Gen principles
• TIG welding experience a plus
• AWS (American Welding Society) Certified Welder is a plus

Responsibilities

• Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team to fabricate products to engineering drawing.
• Safely operate CNC, Bandsaws, Ironworker, Drill press, Cutting tools,  and other fabrication equipment.
• Work interdepartmentally with MFG, KAIZEN, LOGISTIC, QC, and PE to troubleshoot and solve MFG problems.
• Practice Kubota safety standards in all aspects of job.
• Practice 5S principles on a daily basis.
• Perform special projects as requested and related tasks as needed.
