About The Position

We’re hiring a mechanically inclined Machinist to support production operations in a well-established manufacturing facility in Ashland, Ohio. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with machines, solving mechanical problems, and producing quality parts.

Requirements

• Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills
• Machinist or machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring tools
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Nice To Haves

• Experience with lathes, mills, grinders, or CNC machines preferred

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual and CNC machining equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders
• Make machine adjustments, tooling changes, and minor program edits
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform minor repairs
• Perform basic preventive maintenance on machines
• Document production and quality checks
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Work closely with the production team to meet daily goals
