We are looking to add more talent to our team. Scope of Role: Machinists ensure all products are made safely, with the highest quality, and in an efficient manner.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of experience operating CNC machines
  • Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities
  • Technical ability and basic math skills
  • Ability to use precision gauges and measuring instruments
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous quality improvement
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to operate a computer, fax machine, and other office equipment
  • Ability to work as part of a team

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of an apprenticeship or training program is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Plans machining in cell by studying work orders, blueprints, set up sheets to ensure quality production.
  • Sets up and operates various machines as rotation takes place within a work cell.
  • Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
  • Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
  • Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts.
  • Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
  • Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly.
  • Meet production schedules.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks to ensure machine longevity, including lubrication, cleaning, and tool replacement.
  • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Ensure that the machines are operating correctly and that pieces are cut to perfection
  • Perform maintenance on the machines and replace dull or aged parts as necessary.
