Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Mechanical ability, CNC machining experience a plus
Strong computer skills
Knowledge of the metric system
Forklift experience preferred
Self-motivated with the ability to make clear decisions and adapt to change
Strong mechanical skills and effective communication
Professional demeanor with good interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to problem solve
Results-driven with initiative to work independently or in a team environment
Versatile and able to work outside primary area if needed

CNC machining experience
Forklift experience

Responsibilities

Program CNC machines from scratch or edit existing programs as needed
Perform set up operations and check tooling for damage prior to use
Fabricate parts through milling, turning, drilling, tapping, de-burring, sawing, and sanding
Read and interpret standard, metric, and European prints
Perform inspections of machined parts using handheld measuring tools, CMM, and air gages (documenting results)
Communicate with co-workers regarding production runs and ensure customer requirements are met
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management
Coordinate daily tasks with team members, perform 360 reviews, check email
Perform all other duties as assigned
