Starting Pay: $29/hr Location: 910 Elm St, Mckinney, Tx, 75069 Schedule: 7am - 5pm, M-F, Rotating Weekend coverage Position Overview: Prysmian is seeking an individual who is looking to join the Maintenance Team. In this role, you will be working as a Machinist in our Machine Shop. MUST BE WILLING TO UNDERGO AN ONSITE DRUG SCREEN
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and write in English
- Own tools
- Ability to work nights and weekends
- Basic computer skills
- MUST BE WILLING TO UNDERGO AN ONSITE DRUG SCREEN
Nice To Haves
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a machine shop environment
Responsibilities
- Read blueprints and/or fabricate parts from samples
- Work effectively in a team environment
- Maintain a safe and organized workspace
- Operate manual machine shop equipment, including:
- Knee mills
- Lathes
- Surface grinders
- Saws
- Hoist
- Drill press
- Morrison key seater
- Forklift
