About The Position

Advanced Atomization Technologies (AA TECH) is a joint venture between Parker Aerospace and GE Aviation, created to produce and support advanced fuel nozzles and related products for current and future commercial engine platforms, including aerospace and aero-derivative engines. The highly skilled and experienced team of AA TECH employees is expert in design, assembly, testing, and aftermarket support, providing our customers with a world-class product and support experience. This position is a trainee role on a progression career path to a Machinist. The employee will contribute to lean initiatives to increase productivity and reduce costs. Works with general guidance in a team environment.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Successfully complete Math proficiency assessment
Has working knowledge of machine shop mathematics, may include trigonometry.
Effectively applies lean initiatives.
Observes all company policies and procedures, including safety rules, and maintains a clean and orderly work area.
Must demonstrate manual dexterity and a willingness to learn.
Demonstrates effective verbal and written skills along with the ability to work in a team environment.
Due to the Company’s military contractor status, the applicant must be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident of the United States and must provide evidence of citizenship or immigration status upon applying for the position.

Responsibilities

Learn to operate machines.
Learn proper usage of taking measurements with gage.
Basic set ups on about 1- 2 machines.
Observes all company policies and procedures, including safety rules, and maintains a clean and orderly work area.
