GE partnered with Hudson Valley to create the Machinist Technician Technology Program (MTTP) which combines both academic studies and on-the-job training to develop the fundamentals required to become a skilled machinist with GE Power machine tools. Students will attend class at Hudson Valley 4-days a week and report to the GE Schenectady site 1-day a week for training during the fall and spring semester. Students will train full-time during a summer semester through an internship, and will be eligible for employment as a GE machinist following graduation.
