Systems Application & Technologies, Inc. (SA-TECH) is a progressive and well-established Department of Defense (DoD) contractor specializing in Range operations and maintenance (O&M); weapons testing; facilities management; aerial, ground and seaborne targets O&M; technical, logistics and other engineering support; systems integration; electronics and communications maintenance services; and a growing cybersecurity business. We are highly focused and, among other efforts, currently operate a dozen active test and/or training ranges for the Army, Air Force and Navy. Our 35-year heritage is founded on supporting complex and diverse DoD programs and we've developed a standout reputation for providing the highest quality services, superior workmanship and cost-effective results while achieving complete customer satisfaction. SA-TECH has supported all instrumentation efforts of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Prototyping, Instrumentation, and Experimentation (PIE) Group and the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) Airborne Instrumentation Systems Division (AISD) since September 2015 through two consecutive contract awards. Our support encompasses the full spectrum of instrumentation from design (engineering and drafting) to fabrication and installation, to the day-to-day support (calibration, preflight support for Test/Evaluation, post-flight support). The breadth of customers that PIE supports ranges from U.S. DoD and partner nations to the occasional support of commercial projects for industry partners as well as the entertainment industry. Work is performed at three geographically-separated locations: Patuxent River, Maryland; China Lake, California; and Point Mugu, California. SA-TECH is currently seeking to hire a Machinist/Technician (Engineering Technician IV) to serve as a mid-level technician in the Machine Shop for our Advanced Packaging Support Department, supporting engineers and machine shop personnel in the mechanical fabrication, mechanical assembly, test and installation of prototype parts used in aircraft systems.
