About The Position

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions.
• First Class Machinist/Millwright work experience and skills required.
• Machinist Apprenticeship or equivalent required.
• Five or more years' experience in a refinery or petrochemical operations preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Computer skills (Microsoft Office/Outlook) and experience with SAP required.
• Eligible to qualify or hold a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC card).

Responsibilities

• Repair equipment including pumps, fans, compressors, turbines, and gearboxes.
• Make shop repairs and reinstall equipment.
• Use a lathe to check shafts for straightness and machine for proper fits.
• Operate drill presses, boring mills, and milling machines.
• Perform high-speed balancing and alignments.
• Coordinate work and function as a team member.
• Participate in training programs to maintain and upgrade skills.
• Work on high structures and within confined spaces.
• Lift a minimum of 50 lbs and perform physically active assignments.
