The role involves operating manual machines and some G-code CNC machines, inspecting parts for specification conformance, and performing related duties. Candidates should have mechanical aptitude, blueprint reading skills, a high school diploma or equivalent, and experience with manual drills, milling, lathes, and machining materials such as stainless steel, carbon steel, and cast iron.

Requirements

  • Possess good mechanical aptitude.
  • Must know how to read blueprints.
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Must have knowledge and experience operating some or all of the following machines: Manual drills, Manual milling, Manual Lathes.
  • Must be knowledgeable machining any of the following: stainless steel, carbon steels and/or cast iron.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a variety of manual machines as well as G-code CNC machines.
  • Inspects and measure’s part to determine conformance to specifications through use of precision measuring equipment.
  • Performs all inspection functions as required by Work Instructions.
  • Notify supervisor of Non-Conformances.
  • All other duties that may be assigned
