Machinist - Manual Lathe/Mill
About The Position
We are seeking to hire an experienced Manual Machinist to work at a manufacturing warehouse located in the Fort Worth, TX area Monday - Friday 6am-330pm - will work Saturday's as needed for OT Rate of pay: $23 per hour This position is not entry level Job Details: Setup, operate, and maintain both CNC and Manual lathes and mills. Ability to read and understand blueprints. Machine to dimensions and tolerances set by blueprint. Detect and report defective material or questionable conditions to supervisor. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
Requirements
- Must read a tape measure an other measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc)
- Must have at least 3 years of CNC and Lathe manual experience.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Knowledge of machining tools (drills, interest, etc)
- Ability to use an overhead crane
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with computers and Windows-based computer programs is a plus!
