About The Position

Set up and operate HAAS CNC machines using MasterCam to produce precision parts. Interpret engineering drawings, inspect parts, and assist with basic machine troubleshooting. Supports general shop operations including manual machining and secondary tasks.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years CNC machine setup/operation
• 1+ years programming in MasterCam or equivalent
• Ability to read blueprints and perform basic math (decimal/metric)
• Must lift up to 40 lbs and work in a non-climate-controlled environment
• Must be fluent in English (reading/writing)

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering prints; identify and communicate issues
• Program jobs using MasterCam CAD
• Set up and operate HAAS CNC machines
• Change tools, recognize wear, and troubleshoot minor CNC issues
• Build fixtures, optimize tool paths, and perform manual machining
• Conduct part inspections using calipers and gages
• Perform secondary operations (deburring, drilling, tapping)
• Assist with loading/unloading equipment and general shop work
