About The Position
Proficiently programs, edits, and performs complex set-ups on computer numerical controlled (CNC) machinery. This position involves writing, creating, and testing CNC programs, ensuring they are optimized, and making adjustments to adhere to established specifications or revisions. The role also includes monitoring machining times, recommending new techniques, maintaining jigs and fixtures, and keeping the work area clean and organized. Additionally, the position requires minimizing waste and scrap, improving product throughput, and assisting in other areas to meet production needs while complying with safety regulations.
