The position involves machining parts for equipment, disassembling and reassembling equipment. The role requires operating various machine shop equipment to produce close-tolerance machined parts to specifications with general supervision. Employees must efficiently set up assigned machines with less supervision and read precision measuring equipment such as inside and outside micrometers. The job also includes identifying parts needing machining after disassembly and selecting the proper tools and machines for each job. Proficiency in using controls on CNC machines is required if CNC is used in the assigned shop. All employees must follow health and safety procedures and comply with the Archrock Health Safety and Environmental Policy and local, statutory, and regulatory requirements at all times.
