To be responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining modern machine tools and equipment to produce precision components that meet strict technical specifications as defined on detailed part drawings. Typically, this role requires a strong technical understanding and aptitude with CNC machine tools, CNC program G-code, inspection tools and techniques, and the ability to read and interpret drawings using geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. This role also requires good organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Machine Setup & Operation.
  • Quality Assurance - First article and in-process inspections.
  • Basic Machine maintenance, workplace organization
  • Perform other duties as needed and assigned.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Technical/Vocational certificate or any associated degree in machining, manufacturing technology or a related field is a plus.
  • 1-2 years minimum of CNC or Manual machining preferred
  • Familiarity of the defense or aerospace industries a plus
  • Proficiency with common CNC controls (Fanuc, Haas, Mazak etc)
  • Ability to read and understand common G-code
  • Proficiency with Common Inspection tools and equipment
  • Must be fluent in reading and interpreting Engineering drawings using common Geometric dimensioning & Tolerancing
  • Must be fluent in the setup and use of tooling used for turning and/ or milling applications.
  • Must possess fundamental keyboarding and computer skills.
  • Good sense of urgency and bias for action
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Have good organizational and housekeeping habits
  • Ability to multitask in a sometimes fast paced environment

  • This position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a "U.S. Person" as defined under ITAR and EAR. In order to be a U.S. Person for ITAR and EAR purposes, you must (i) be a citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii) a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
