The Machinist II-Intermediate Setup Operator is responsible for the operation of both manual and CNC machines and programming. This role has the opportunity to develop advanced setup skills, lead small projects, and mentor entry level machinists.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of machining experience.
• Proficient in Mastercam.
• Experience with HAAS machines.
• Able to interpret GD&T.
• Experience with troubleshooting and fixture assistance.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Possess mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC mills and lathes and machine tight tolerances.
• Perform setups and offsets.
• Edit and verify Mastercam programs.
• Load and unload parts.
• Perform basic inspections.
• Mentor Level I Machinists.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Follow company safety and quality procedures.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
