Perform all phases of set up and operation of machinery to include, but not limited to Break Press Operation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience operating manufacturing equipment including Break Press.
  • Ability to understand fractions and angles.
  • Close attention to detail.
  • Function with a minimal amount of supervision or no supervision.
  • Ability to understand and demonstrate proper operations of Break Press machine.
  • Ability to read and use linear and other measuring devices.
  • Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards.
  • Fundamental use of various pneumatic and power tools. Familiar with the safe operation of various tools: including but not limited to drills, screw gun, table saw, band saw and routers.
  • Ability to use basic mathematics.
  • Must have general knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate production machinery as required.
  • Stay current in TPM and basic mechanical adjustments on all equipment as needed.
  • Read and interpret detail drawings and dimension styles
  • Update paperwork and reflect any changes
  • Must be able to read a tape measure.
  • Set work priorities to meet production goals as scheduled.
  • Interface with engineering to program machine run and set ups.
  • Loads parts in machine, cycles machine, detects malfunctions in machine operations such as worn or damaged cutting tools
  • Run production lots, communicate with co-workers regarding productions runs, and maintains safe, organized, and clean work environment
