Our Ramsey, NJ facility is growing, and we’re looking for motivated Machinists who want hands-on experience, real responsibility, and long-term career growth. If you’re mechanically inclined, detail-focused, and ready to build your skills in a professional precision machine shop, this is your opportunity. As a Machinist I, you’ll operate and support manual and CNC equipment to produce precision metal components. You’ll work under experienced machinists while building your technical capability.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic math skills (fractions, decimals, measurements)
• Ability to read blueprints or willingness to develop the skill
• Strong attention to detail
• Manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude

Nice To Haves

• Trade school or vocational machining program
• Prior machining experience
• Familiarity with CNC operation
• Some experience is helpful but not required. We provide training for motivated candidates.

Responsibilities

• Operating manual and CNC machines including lathes, mills, grinders, and drills
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
• Setting up machines for production runs
• Selecting appropriate tooling and adjusting speeds and feeds
• Inspecting finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Recording production data including quantities, downtime, and scrap
• Performing routine machine maintenance
• Following all shop safety procedures
