You will be a Machinist with our Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control team in Chelmsford, MA. Our team is responsible for delivering high‑precision components that enable cutting‑edge systems. What You Will Be Doing As a Machinist you will be responsible for operating and maintaining precision machine tools to produce original parts, tools, and mechanisms that meet exacting quality standards. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Assemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, and products following work instruction and drawings. Make adjustments to machine settings as necessary to maintain product quality. Read and interpret engineering drawings, assembly process/work instructions and work instruction processes. Select and install cutting tools, adjust machine settings, and monitor the machining process to ensure quality and accuracy. Sets up and operates any type of precision machine tool to make original parts, tools, mechanisms. Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment. Maintain accurate data entry related to production processes. Collaborate with teams members to improve throughput and continuous improvement.
