About The Position

Responsible for making tooling parts and revisions through the programming, setup, and operation of various CNC machinery, assisting in manual machining, assisting in tooling repairs, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and working with minimal supervision.

Demonstrate ability to participate in departmental and interdepartmental communication and teamwork

Demonstrate ability to operate vertical and horizontal band saws
Demonstrate ability to operate a fork truck
Demonstrate ability to operate parts cleaners and dry ice blasters
Demonstrate the ability to operate the sand blasting cabinet
Demonstrate ability to operate disc sander and pencil grinder
Demonstrate ability to accurately read any needed measuring equipment
Demonstrate the ability to read and follow direction from blueprints, sketches, or copying sample parts
Demonstrate ability to operate manual and automatic surface grinders
Demonstrate the ability to operate manual mills and lathes
Demonstrate ability to operate overhead bridge cranes and jib cranes
Demonstrate ability to operate various hand tools and magnetic base drills
Demonstrate ability to operate hydraulic press and arbor press
Demonstrate ability to assist with the tear down, repair, and reassemble various form tools and trim tools to specs.
Demonstrate ability to assist in determining root causes of tooling issues
Demonstrate the ability to create 3D wireframe CNC programs with Mastercam
Demonstrate ability to create CNC turning programs with Mazatrol
Demonstrate ability to set up and operate CNC mills
Demonstrate ability to set up and operate CNC lathes

Demonstrate the ability to understand and actively participate in all company safety programs, policies and procedures
High School diploma or GED
3-5 years of related work experience
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Visually I read various postings, bulletin boards, and computer monitors/screens
Heed safety warnings, devices and alarms
Possess adequate ability to do problem solving and establish cause and effect relationships in an office and/or manufacturing environment
