Working at our Cincinnati Aviation Component Service Center, our ACSC facility develops and conducts a wide array of engine component repairs – including rotating parts, complex assemblies and nozzles on 29 different engine models. Machinists own the repair process from start to finish, so they must be willing to bench, inspect, steam/clean, grit blast, etc. to keep hardware moving. The role requires setting up and operating standard machine tools and specialized equipment to make, modify and rework parts and assemblies as directed. Machinists will work from planning or written instructions, written procedures, blueprints, and repair manuals, and will receive work assignments throughout the machine shop, operating various machine tools and performing repetitive and/or single piece lot work.
