About The Position

Pratt & Whitney’s Compression Systems Module Center (CSMC) is seeking an experienced manufacturing engineer to lead projects to develop machining processes for New Product Introductions programs. This position offers the opportunity to work on some of the newest products and manufacturing technologies being designed and developed at Pratt & Whitney. Candidate selected will be responsible for planning and development of machining processes for new experimental engine hardware and in some cases phasing these processes into production. Additionally selected candidate will be responsible for advancement of machining technologies in place on current production parts to apply latest technologies and best practices. This includes working with new product design engineers during conceptual design phase through detail design and ultimately initial hardware manufacture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in manufacturing engineering
  • US Citizenship required.
  • machining processes including turning, milling shaping and grinding
  • processing aerospace materials including nickel and titanium
  • process planning and new product development.
