We are looking for a highly motivated and seasoned Machining Plant Manager to guide our New Kensington Precision Machining group (NKPM). The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong history in precision machining and leadership within an AS9100 manufacturing setting. You will be strategic, ambitious, and able to direct a team to deliver flawless results. As the Machining Plant Manager, you will: Define and implement strategic goals, plans, and policies for NKPM. Determine and provide necessary resources and infrastructure for production. Manage day-to-day operations, including team management, work assignment, and scheduling. Establish and monitor benchmarks. Implement robust production processes that meet organizational and customer requirements. Hire, develop, and manage a highly proficient NKPM team. Ensure quality management and customer focus.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of precision machining technologies, including CNC programming and operations.
  • Experience leading within an AS9100 manufacturing setting.
  • A BSIE or equivalent.
  • Strong critical thinking and business insight.
  • Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with large format machining and exotic materials, as well as adjacent processes like grinding and EDM.
