About The Position

We are looking for a talented Machining Engineer – 2nd Shift (On-Site) to join our team specializing in Engineering for our Seymour Machining Center in Seymour, IN. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Support Efficient Manufacturing Processes Assist in planning and implementing machining processes that improve productivity and meet product specifications. Collaborate on Tooling and Part Selection Work with engineering teams to identify necessary parts and tools, reducing setup times and optimizing changeovers. Contribute to Product and Performance Improvements Analyze product issues and recommend enhancements to improve quality and operational efficiency. Participate in Design and Development Activities Assist in the design, development, and evaluation of technical products and systems to ensure alignment with manufacturing goals. Perform Equipment Evaluations and Documentation Conduct engineering design assessments and document findings, recommending design alterations to enhance quality and reliability. Drive Continuous Improvement Initiatives Utilize lean and continuous improvement tools to increase equipment availability and capability across the plant. Enhance Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with engineering, operations, and supplier teams to ensure seamless integration of machining processes. Support Implementation of Advanced Technologies Contribute to the adoption of innovative machining solutions that improve efficiency and reduce operational risk.
