Machine Technician

This role includes material handling and utilizing manufacturing machinery while following operating procedures. This is an entry-level production role that can lead to a career in machine tool programming, which is a highly marketable skillset. We will support the learning and development of this professional. Shift: 1st Shift, Regular Schedule of M-F 6:00am-2:30pm, 30-minute lunch 2nd Shift, Regular Schedule of M-Th 2:30pm-1:00am, 30-minute lunch
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, team player.
- Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
- Reliability.

- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing conditions and/or environment.
- Ability to communicate verbally with others.

Responsibilities
- Ensure we meet customer needs and maintain a high level of service.
- Prioritize production sequence based on customer demand and lead time.
- Follow detailed instructions, work from standard coding and operational data to change or mount tools and position work piece.
- Verify inventory reports by comparing them to physical counts of stock.
- Adjust machine and fixture stops to maintain finish and tolerance requirements.
- Working from certified part drawings, utilize required precision measuring instruments to check machine positioning, inspect finished parts, and record results on SPC charts.
- Recognize and report any program and/or machine malfunctions, tooling difficulties, etc.
- Operate powered material handling equipment to transport inventory, unload incoming stock and load orders.
- Follow standard operating procedures and perform other related duties as required.
