JOB DESCRIPTION Job Summary: The Manufacturing Bulge Line Operator, safely operates and maintains the bulge line in the area assigned. Performs required quality checks to assure quality specifications are meet. Meets all material service or process flow demands. Provides information regarding line issues to Manufacturing Section Head of the area. Completes the required documentation information regarding the assigned bulge line. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an associate must be able to perform each primary responsibility satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience: 12 months related education, experience and/or training in a similar position Basic knowledge of manufacturing machine operation and function preferred. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Background/Skills: Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in a Manufacturing environment. Prefer experience or knowledge of measuring tools, such as, calipers, mics, height gauge, dial indictors, etc. Must be able to work by themselves or with assigned associate. Must be able to troubleshoot Safety, Quality, machine issues, implement C/M, and report to management of assigned area. Ability to be trained to safely operate, manipulate bulge machining processes to assure quality and performance targets. Trained for LOTO (Lock-Out, Tag-Out) Intermediate computer skills for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and Intercompany communication (e-mail). Special Training/Certifications: To be determined by position as needed and the Associate Development Program Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Stand/Walk 8/12 hours per day Work 5-7 days per week Lift up to 35 pounds frequently. Up to 45 pounds when changing fixtures. Ability to do repetitive work.
