About The Position

The Machine Tech Operator (Maintenance Operator) position at Tyson Foods in Newbern, TN, is a full-time role on the 1st shift, requiring coverage for all jobs in the department, including general production and operator positions. Requirements

• Must be willing to repeatedly push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to grip with hands.
• Must be able to complete paperwork associated with the assigned position.
• Must be available to work overtime and weekends when required.
• Must be willing to accommodate shift start time changes.
• Must be willing to work in an environment with the sight and smell of meat products.
• Must be willing to obtain a license to operate a forklift.
• Must be willing to obtain a license for LOTO.
• Must have 6 months of continuous employment in the last 18 months.

Nice To Haves

• At least 6 months of relevant machine operator, warehouse, agriculture, or production experience.
