About The Position

You’ll help develop and test solutions for machining problems related to safety, set ups, quality control, and run speeds. You'll also perform general maintenance of designated machinery . Highlights of your role Operate woodworkin g equipment to produce quality wood products Assist engineers and production leadership with creating, modifying , and test ing to ensure machines run smoothly with capable processes T rain and support operators on machine operation, preparation, setup , and bas ic maintenance I dentify wa ys to improve set up times, reduce costs, improve processes, and grow profitability Promote a culture of safety by maintaining a clean and safe work environment, encouraging operators to do the same Develop and implement tooling configurations to improve manufacturing effectiveness You're a good fit if you have (or if you can) High school diploma or equivalent 1-3 years of machine operation and mechanical experience in a manufacturing facility Also want to make sure you have Ability to stand and/or walk for 10 hours per day Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of machine operation and mechanical experience in a manufacturing facility
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for 10 hours per day
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
