About The Position
The Machine Technician 1 is responsible for manufacturing product by operating and maintaining equipment and processes that provide optimum customer service. Technicians in this category will have a minimum of 1 year experience at MT or prior relative job experience. They will be cross-trained on all equipment in one 'Hot Form' production line. They will be responsible for knowing and implementing all area specific compliance issues, including quality, environmental, safety and MT/plant policies. They will contribute to team efforts by participating in continuous improvement projects as required. They will also assist with training coworkers as necessary. Also responsible for enhancing the department's productivity and quality and assisting Supervisor or Team Lead as required.
