Position Summary This position is for a mechanically inclined individual who possesses a positive attitude and desire to continuously improve. This person will be a key player in the Quick Changeover Pit Crew team initiative. The Pit Crew Technicians main role will be to handle parts after they have been sorted before they are stored and shipped. Position: Machine Sort TechnicianDepartment: Sorting, Holly Distribution CenterBasically, this job is for someone who's good with their hands, comfortable around machinery, and ready to keep things moving in the sorting department!

Requirements

• Be flexible with assignments.
• Able to read and understand work instructions.
• Willingness to learn how to use quality control tools.
• Basic math skills are a must.
• Know how to use a hand truck or forklift.
• Good with machines.
• Can solve problems.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Keeping your workspace tidy.
• Loading parts into the machine.
• Making sure the machine and its parts are running smoothly.
• Weighing, stacking, and moving full boxes onto pallets.
• Keeping good records and files.
• Moving parts with a hand truck or forklift if needed.
• Whatever else your supervisor asks you to do!
