Position Summary
Set up and be able to operate all machines within the machine shop

Requirements

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required for this position
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or five years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and applicable experience
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability tow rite routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Be able to read and interpret blue prints.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

• Set up and operate slotters
• Set up and operate air chamber
• Set up and operate fillet roll
• Set up and operate traubs
• Set up and operate dye machine
• Set up and operate drill press
• Set up and operate auto pin machine
• Set up and operate button die and c-sink
• Set up and operate cut off saw
• Set up and operate chop off press
• Be familiar with and able to use dial calipers, mic and SPC computer
