A successful incumbent is expected to (i) set up equipment in accordance with print specifications and work instructions; make adjustments to maintain set-up; perform equipment or machinery set-up including stamping dies, forming dies, machining dies, etc, and (ii) perform daily and/or weekly operator equipment maintenance Machine Shop Operator II Job Responsibilities: Set up equipment in accordance with print specifications and work instructions; make adjustments to maintain set-up; perform equipment or machinery set-up including stamping dies, forming dies, machining dies, etc Perform daily and/or weekly operator equipment maintenance Proficiently operate iron worker, press brakes, hydraulic shear, band saw, milling machines, plasma and other equipment Utilize inspection gauges such as dial calipers, protractors, squares, and height gauges to perform quality checks on parts Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to determine appropriate operations to be performed Drive forklift and maintain necessary certification Operate cranes, hoists, and lift tables to load/unload material Route parts and components to the proper department or storage location Label materials produced and scan shop orders within an ERP system Efficiently prioritize workload and use of available resources with time constraints Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams. Protect Chamberlain Group’s and Systems’ reputation by keeping information confidential. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed Machine Shop Operator II Job Requirements: No minimum education required 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment Ability to accurately read a tape measure to 1/32" Preferred Qualifications: Experience operating iron worker, press brakes, hydraulic shear, band saw, milling machines, plasma and other related equipment The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $26.73/hr. Base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies. Requirements

  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure to 1/32"
