About The Position
This position involves working under direct supervision to set up and operate both manual and CNC machining and fabrication equipment. The intern will learn and develop skills in the utilization of CAD/CAM software and provide project support to current staff. Responsibilities include performing general blanking, deburring, and saw work, as well as general shop and equipment maintenance as directed. The intern is expected to follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles, and to understand, create, and simplify processes. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
