The Large Power Systems Division in Lafayette, IN currently has an opening for a Machine Shop/Assembly Counter. In this role you will be responsible for counting production parts including but not limited to large engine components and purchased finished parts. The primary focus for the Machine Shop/Assembly Counter will be to maintain inventory accuracy for the Lafayette Engine Facility.

Requirements

• Must possess good organizational skills and the ability to analyze complex flow paths.
• Must have good written and oral communication skills.
• Self-motivated, safety-conscious individual capable of working independently.
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office applications.

• Possess and show strong interpersonal skills and apply customer-based focus.

Responsibilities

• Counting of production parts to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Help reconcilers determine root cause for discrepancies.
• Proper workload management to meet corporate timelines.
• Utilizing computer system to input count results and adjustments.
