Job Summary: Reduce risk for safety incidents, investment cost & productivity losses on new machinery in NA DENSO by confirming compliance to DMS/DAS, US & international standards. This role supports expanding & strengthening safety inspections of all new machinery in NA DENSO. Filling this position is required to meet the global directive for quality assurance & safety to achieve zero machine related accidents. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Act as a communication leader between foreign and domestic customers, manufacturing, and engineering groups. Lead technical meetings and presentations. Perform deep analysis of automated machinery safety, including design and build workmanship of power circuits, control circuits, safety controller logic, and structure. Perform detailed machine inspections evaluating compliance with equipment specifications, DENSO machine standards, US and international safety standards. Evaluate and perform machinery risk assessments, performance level calculations, and detailed validations of safety functions. Communicate inspection results with OEM customer engineering groups, documenting noncompliance issues and advising countermeasures. Help develop policies and procedures related to the QA process for machine inspection. Domestic and foreign travel will be required based on business needs.
