This exciting opportunity is for a skilled and motivated Machine Repair Technician to join the team at the Loves Park Campus on N. 2nd Street, working on AWS 2nd shift (Fri-Sun 3pm-3:30am) with a rotating on-call schedule. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment. Requirements

Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of basic machinery and equipment used in machine repair.
Diagnostic Skills: Ability to identify and diagnose simple mechanical issues using standard procedures.
Manual Dexterity: Proficient in using hand tools and operating machinery with precision.
Safety Compliance: Adheres to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Quality Assurance: Ensures repair work meets established quality standards and specifications.
Instruction Following: Accurately follows detailed repair instructions and standard operating procedures.
Basic Electrical Knowledge: Familiarity with basic electrical components and circuits commonly found in machinery.
Time Management: Efficiently manages time to complete routine repair tasks within designated timeframes.
Communication Skills: Communicates effectively with team members to relay technical information and updates.
Troubleshooting: Performs straightforward troubleshooting tasks to resolve minor machine malfunctions.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
Associates degree in electronics, mechanical or industrial discipline is preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial, mechanical or electrical manufacturing role OR 1 years of experience in a machine repair technician role highly desired (for Level 1)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial, mechanical or electrical manufacturing role OR 3 years of experience in a machine repair technician role highly desired (for Level 2)

Responsibilities

Perform Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and execute preventative maintenance on machinery following standard operating procedures.
Diagnose Basic Issues: Identify and troubleshoot straightforward machine malfunctions using established guidelines and diagnostic tools.
Execute Repairs: Carry out necessary repairs on equipment under close supervision, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Document Maintenance Activities: Accurately record all maintenance and repair tasks in maintenance logs and reports.
Collaborate with Team Members: Communicate technical information and work effectively with team members to ensure optimal machine performance.
