About The Position

We’re seeking a skilled Machine Repair Technician to maintain and repair production equipment at multiple plant locations (OH, MI, SC, IL, and more).

Requirements

  • Mechanical repair experience; press machine repair preferred.
  • Willingness to travel to multiple sites.
  • Strong safety awareness and troubleshooting skills.
  • Stamping Press Machine Repair
  • High school Diploma or general education degree (GED); or five to seven years related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Ability to read and write in English and perform mathematical calculations
  • Ability to adhere to all company policies and procedures in a professional and consistent manner
  • Able to apply common sense understanding and use appropriate judgment in routine business situations with supervisor, co-workers and customers

Nice To Haves

  • Journeyman’s card preferred

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in press machines and other equipment.
  • Dismantle, replace, and install machine components.
  • Perform welding, torch cutting, lubrication, and preventive maintenance.
  • Inspect equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and ensure safety compliance (OSHA & BMES).
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and complete required training (General Repair II Program).
