Requirements

Familiarity with basic machine repair (i.e. stamping presses, forging presses, injection mold machines, and/or other industrial equipment)
Experience using precision measurement equipment (i.e. micrometers, calipers, etc.)
Must be able to ascend/descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs, and/or operate scissor/boom lifts while working at height.
Work in permit & non-permit required confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment.
Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds regularly/occasionally
Must be able to respond quickly to auditory alarms, visual signals, or other effective means to communicate hazards
Must be able to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
Must be able to work in cold/hot environments.
Must be able to traverse irregular and steep terrain.

Nice To Haves

Rigging, welding, and industrial machinery experience a plus
Prior Hilo, Forklift, or Crane experience a plus
CDL-A license a plus

Responsibilities

Assist with disassembling, replacing, and repairing stamping presses and other industrial equipment.
Provide assistance with rigging equipment to move presses when necessary (overhead cranes, Hi-Lo's, gantries, etc.)
Use precision measurement equipment to help troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair presses and other industrial equipment.
Ensure attention to detail and follow safety standards.
Work with other departments as needed.
