Starting pay for Machine Repair position is $34.48 per hour and will receive contractual increases as outlined in the contract. This role may be called one of the following at another company: Technician, Mechanic, Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance & Repair, Maintainer.

Requirements

• Safety oriented
• 3+ years experience as maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to occasionally lift 50 pounds
• Must be experienced in maintenance and repair of production machines and equipment
• Must be available to work 12 hour shifts
• Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the mechanical performance of line and standard production output
• Diagnoses or troubleshoots machines or equipment to determine malfunctions and the need for adjustment or repair
• Performs mechanical repairs and maintenance on various types of equipment
• Lubricates and cleans parts, installs, moves, sets-up and operates all types of equipment and machine tools
• Performs any dismantling, fitting or assembly work required for maintenance
• Reads blue prints, sketches, machine parts or specifications to determine type and dimensions of stock required
