Machine Press Operator - Blanking 2nd Shfit
About The Position
As a Machine Press Operator - Blanking in our Production department within the Blades business, your goal is to successfully set up and operate presses, mills and auto-forming machines to achieve specified formed blade dimensions. You can expect to: Work in a fast paced manufacturing environment Gain a basic knowledge of quality assurance, engineering and manufacturing tools, terminology and concepts The above statements are intended only to describe the general nature of the job and should not be construed as an all-inclusive list of position responsibilities. Requirements
- 1+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to work over time as needed during the busy season November – April (approx. 2 days per month)
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
- Experience working as a press operator
- Experience driving a forklift
- Experience working with manufacturing quality checks and tools using a dial caliper and a height gauge
- Experience working from drawings and samples
- Knowledge of metal stampings industry
