About The Position

This facility operates six days a week and produces Corn Dogs. POSITION SUMMARY: The Fryer Operator is responsible for operating production machinery that batters and cooks the corndogs for the Kitchen areas.

Requirements

  • Must have three months of machine operator experience in job history
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift 45 pounds repeatedly during shift
  • Some areas require occasional lifting up to 70 pounds during Shift
  • Must stand on hard concrete floors for up to 10 hours per day
  • Must work in cold/hot temperatures ranging from 40-75 degrees on a routine basis
  • Must work in wet and/or humid conditions, slippery floors in some areas.
  • Repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, gripping, and pinching, climbing stairs and/or ladders
  • Use of Personal Protective Equipment
  • Position will require Lock-Out Tag-Out certification.
  • Knowledge of basic food processing compliance, FDA, USDA, and EPA is preferred.
  • Must be able to work overtime and weekends and other duties as assigned by Management.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret daily production schedule
  • Operate assigned production equipment per product specifications
  • Determine equipment adjustments and material requirements
  • Compile and record production data and reports on volume of production
  • Prepare equipment for production and test runs Perform troubleshooting and preventing maintenance
  • Operate and observe equipment operation to detect work piece defects or equipment malfunction, and measure work piece dimensions to determine accuracy
  • Record keeping and attention to detail
  • Ensure work area is clean at all time
  • Follow department standards
