Overall Scope: Perform all duties necessary under the general direction of the Logistics Team Leader to successfully manage the core return entry & reporting process and sort cores for manufacturing. Will also help to support the shipping, receiving, material transfer, and the tool crib areas as required. Other duties as assigned by the Logistics Team Leader.

  • Accurately process core return inventory and prepare sorted core shipments.
  • Sort cores for quality and assign to production area.
  • Enter transactions in JDE/AS400 systems. (Shipping, receiving, transfer, and ASN.)
  • Key & transfer inventory to ensure inventory accuracy and customer credit.
  • Maintain logistics and purchasing quality system as required.
  • Escalate issues or concerns with the Logistics leaders as necessary.
  • Assist other Logistics employees as needed.
  • Load and unload trucks at the shipping dock using lifting equipment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with JDE/AS400 systems.
  • Experience in a Warehouse environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail, verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to safely operate a Forklift & other material movement equipment.
  • Proficient with MS Excel and Outlook.
  • Able to travel for initial training and product transfer.
