About the position
We are seeking Lathe and Mill CNC Machine Operators to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will possess strong mechanical aptitude and experience operating CNC machinery or have other machine operator experience. This role is crucial in producing high-quality products, and we will train someone who has prior machine operator experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines, including lathes and mills, to produce parts according to specifications.
- Program CNC machines using CAD/CAM software to create precise machining instructions.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments such as micrometers and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for quality control.
- Assemble components as required, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machining processes or equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Nice-to-haves
- CNC lathe: 1 year (Preferred)
- CNC milling machine: 1 year (Preferred)
- General Machine Operator: 2 years (Preferred)
- High school diploma or GED (Preferred)
