As a Machine Operator at Rockline Industries, Inc., you will play a crucial role in the production process by ensuring that all Packer duties are performed proficiently. This position requires you to complete all essential functions as outlined in the Packer/Palletizer Position Description, which includes assisting in the training of new team members, including Packers/Palletizers and new Entry Operators. You will be expected to rotate into various positions and lines as needed due to absences or breaks, ensuring that production continues smoothly. Your responsibilities will also include conducting start-of-shift inspections and sanitation of equipment, participating in preventative maintenance, and performing quality checks as necessary. A working knowledge of JDE and Docushare is essential for this role, as you will need to maintain good run adjustments, including print registration, label adjustments, and substrate dimensions. You will be responsible for completing minor machine changeovers and participating in major changeovers as required. Effective communication with the oncoming shift is vital to ensure a seamless transition and continuity in operations. Maintaining compliance with 6S standards and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory. You will also be tasked with cleaning assigned areas of the facility to uphold cGMP standards. Overall, your role is integral to the safety and efficiency of the production environment, and you will be expected to perform all other tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
